Cohana Kokeshi Doll Pincushion
This pincushion designed with the traditional sleek shape and bobbed hair of the kokeshi, interpreted in Cohana's signature colors.
A charming pincushion made with traditional techniques from northern Japan. In snowy Tsugaru, Aomori, woodworkers started carve small dolls called kokeshi as souvenirs for tourists to the region's famous hot springs.
Each doll opens to reveal a hidden pincushion and comes with three quality needles from Meboso Hachirobei Shoten which has been manufacturing and selling needles for more than 440 years and continues to preserve the tradition.
The doll's base is magnetic to easily pick up fallen pins and needles.

- Because natural wood is used, color and grain may vary.
- Wood may expand or contract with humidity, affecting joints.
- Each Kokeshi doll is hand-painted, so expressions may differ.
- The surface is coated—please clean with a dry cloth to avoid damage.
- Contains a magnet; keep away from electronics like phones and PCs.

FABRIC SAMPLE SHIPMENT
We ship our fabric samples via letter with a flat rate of $2 for both orders headed for the USA and Canada. Fabric samples that are ordered with fabrics will be packed with your order free of charge.
For orders only containing fabric samples, please allow up to one week for fulfillment time.
FULFILLMENT TIME
IMPORTANT: Purchases made during Black Friday are not subjec to our usual fulfillment time of 3-5 days. Please allow up to two weeks for your fabric to be shipped.
