Founded in Osaka in 1966, Nijiyura creates tenugui using the traditional chusen dyeing technique, where layers of cotton are folded and dyed by hand-pouring color through the fabric. This method produces soft, blended tones paired with vibrant designs suited for everyday life.
Originally created as towels for drying hands, tenugui can also be used in many ways - wrapping, covering, decorating, or even sewing into handmade projects. Enjoy discovering your own favorite way to use them.
A design inspired by the cozy moments of enjoying your favorite wine paired with a delicious meal. The carefully separated colors achieved through the chusen dyeing technique add a special touch to this piece.

FABRIC SAMPLE SHIPMENT
We ship our fabric samples via letter with a flat rate of $2 for both orders headed for the USA and Canada. Fabric samples that are ordered with fabrics will be packed with your order free of charge.
For orders only containing fabric samples, please allow up to 14 days for fulfillment time.
FULFILLMENT TIME
IMPORTANT: Purchases made during Black Friday are not subjetc to our usual fulfillment time of 3-7 days. Please allow up to two weeks for your fabric to be shipped.
