This folding fan is made with traditional tenugui fabric. If you’re fond of Japanese culture, you may already be familiar with the sensu, a handheld fan that folds accordion-style. Compact and easy to carry, it opens wide to create a refreshing breeze. The frame is crafted from bamboo, adding a light and airy touch.

Hamamonyo creates Japanese goods featuring vividly dyed tenugui cloths, made with Yokohama’s traditional nassen stencil dyeing. Their playful, unique designs are crafted with care.

FABRIC SAMPLE SHIPMENT
We ship our fabric samples via letter with a flat rate of $2 for both orders headed for the USA and Canada. Fabric samples that are ordered with fabrics will be packed with your order free of charge.
For orders only containing fabric samples, please allow up to one week for fulfillment time.
FULFILLMENT TIME
IMPORTANT: Purchases made during Black Friday are not subjec to our usual fulfillment time of 3-5 days. Please allow up to two weeks for your fabric to be shipped.
DUTIES AND TAXES
International shipments headed outside of the US may incur duties, taxes, or other fees. These are the responsibility of the purchaser to pay. Please check your country's individual rules on importing items before purchase.
