This is a tote bag with a facing, where you can catch a glimpse of the outer fabric's pattern on the inside when you open it. We used a 100% cotton heavyweight canvas for outer fabric and a lightweight 100% linen fabric for the lining.

Instructions
1. Cut the fabrics according to the measurement. The picture shows the outer fabric cut with corners cropped in 4cm square.
2. Make the handles. Fold both long ends of the handle fabric by 1cm inward and fold in half.
3. Apply stitches on both long ends of the handle.
4. Baste the handle on the outer fabric. Set it at 6cm to the right and left from the center. Pull it up by 1cm from the bag opening and baste with 0.5cm seam.
5. Make the lining bag. With the front sides facing each other, put together the lining fabric (27x40cm) and facing (8x40cm) prior to sewing.
6. Sew together the lining fabric and facing with 1cm seam.
7. Sew the bottom of the lining fabric. For gusset, corner is opened and held with a clip.
8. With the front sides facing each other, insert the lining bag (with facing) into the outer bag. Sew together the bags at the top.
